RYAN STARKMAN, MBA
Ryan Starkman joined Pierson Commercial in the Spring of 2014. Born and raised in New Jersey and growing up around the real estate industry, he has an intimate knowledge of the business and vast understanding of the New Jersey marketplace. Ryan’s focus consists of the marketing and leasing of shopping centers, investment sales, land acquisition, development and tenant representation on behalf of the firm’s clients. In addition, Ryan specializes in urban high street retail leasing and development underwriting, programming, financial and feasibility analysis.
Ryan currently represents several national retailers including 24 Hour Fitness, Forman Mills, Oportun and Sticky Fingers Joint. He also represents some of the most active mixed-use, urban and suburban real estate firms in the market including Ben Hur Realty, BNE Real Estate Group, Edison Properties, Jacobs Enterprise’s, L&M Development, Paramount Assets and Pennrose Development.
Prior to joining Pierson Commercial, Ryan worked in the asset management division of BLDG
Management, one of the largest privately held real estate development and management institutions in New York City.
Ryan is a graduate of Moravian College, where he was a four-year, two-sport athlete, playing varsity football and lacrosse. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a minor in Accounting. Ryan holds an MBA in Real Estate from Monmouth University. He is an active member of the ICSC Next Generation Committee.
